The Duo
Rubenstein-Ouziel is considered over the 30 last years a reference in the
field. The duo performed in the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Wigmore Hall
(London), the Philharmonic society of Bucharest, the Palais des
Beaux-Arts of Brussels, and in international festivals such as Ljubliana,
Girona, Saint-Cyprien, Kfar-Blum, Carthage, Brussels, Lille, as well as
in the United States, in Canada, in Brazil and in Israel.
The Duo
Rubenstein-Ouziel appeared in more than 100 sonatas and duos, also giving
on several occasions in concerts the integrals of the Sonatas for violin
and piano by W. A. Mozart (35) and 10 by L. van Beethoven as well as the
forgotten ones that they add regularly in their programs and among those
the sonatas of H. Villa-Lobos, A. Copland, C. Ives, sonata FAE, the 3
sonatas of Grieg, the 2 sonatas of Fauré and the sonatas opus 120 of J
Brahms which they all engraved on disc or CD.
Their
recordings, including nearly 20 discs and CD, received outstanding
critics of the international press, in particular for the sonatas of W.A.
Mozart, E. Grieg and G. Fauré as for the integral of the sonatas of J.
Brahms which includes the 3 sonatas for violin and piano, sonata F.A.E.
and the 2 sonatas opus 120 in the version of Brahms for violin and piano.
The Duo
Jerrold Rubenstein & Dalia Ouziel gave moreover creations and many
first peformances such as the Concerto for Violin, Piano and string orchestra
of F. Mendelssohn given that was first performed in Belgium in 1969.
Likewise, it is also the Duo Rubenstein-Ouziel which gave in September
2003 the First performance in Belgium of the Concerto for Violin, Piano
and string orchestra of Viotti.
